New Morning in the Old World is a documentation of an unstable decade in Europe. Christian Belgaux examines how history casts a shadow over the turbulent present, which has resulted in democratic decline and war. New Morning in the Old World is the result of dozens of trips to more than 20 European countries.
Christian Belgaux is a photographer and journalist at the Norwegian weekly paper Morgenbladet, where he also writes about photography. He works on documentary and artistic projects and has published several books.
